Dupa 30 de ani de absență din rafturile librăriilor, primul album reprezentativ al artistului prezintă imagini ale operei importante ce acoperă perioada de creație de la 14 la 76 de ani. Lucrarea este o poartă deschisă publicului iubitor de artă, care astfel poate cunoaște personalitatea și creația de varf a artistului, oferă acces la date și evenimente reale din viața sa, destăinuind prin chiar propriile sale cuvinte principiile in baza cărora și-a construit arta. Ea aduce in fața cititorilor părți semnificative din manuscrisele olografe ale maestrului Bălașa, din articolele si interviurile de presă ce au trecut de frontierele cenzurii comuniste si aspecte mai puțin cunoscute din viața artistului. Albumul, ofertant pentru toți iubitorii de artă, conține 360 de pagini cu peste 400 de imagini. Reprezintă prima referință solidă ce va muta controversa despre mult comentatul artist, bazată pană in prezent mai mult pe zvonuri si cunoașterea precară a operei, in zona realității, a cunoașterii complexității operei reprezentative si autentice. Pictorul Tudor Bălașa, fiul și elevul maestrului, este autorul textului si concepției grafice.

After 30 years of absence from bookstore shelves, the artist's first representative album presents images of the important work that covers the creative period from 14 to 76 years. The work is an open door to the art-loving public, who can thus know the personality and top creation of the artist, offers access to real data and events in his life, revealing in his own words the principles on which he built his art. It brings to the readers significant parts of the holographic manuscripts of master Bălașa, of the articles and press interviews that crossed the borders of communist censorship and less known aspects of the artist's life. The album, offering to all art lovers, contains 360 pages with over 400 images. It represents the first solid reference that will move the controversy about the much commented artist, based so far more on rumors and precarious knowledge of the work, in the area of ​​reality, knowledge of the complexity of the representative and authentic work. The painter Tudor Bălașa, the master's son and student, is the author of the text and graphic design.
