In the Age of Reproducibility the repetition (the some red cats, the "wales"-airships, the Pannini's paint) represents in some way the infinite.
Instead we observe that nature never repeats. Have you ever seen a tree perfectly identical to the other? or a fish? or a person? In nature there is repetition, but is not visible, evident.
