Any reference to facts or people is purely coincidental. There is no final guilty, Satan, the metaphor of absolute evil, more real than reality itself. Because Evil is not something external to us. We are the ones who choose between good or evil, moment by moment. It is the human condition, always suspended between the sky and the abyss. When Evil like a snake creeps in among men, it is the discord, the ruin, the death, the fall of Man.

Death and devastation, yesterday, among the ruins and memories of the Second World War and among the ashes of the Nazi-fascist extermination camps. Death and devastation, today, the mortal equation of contemporary societies of merchandises, the endless wars on man and nature. Death and devastation tomorrow, after the last of our wars against life.

The exit.

Out of this world, in this world, the immortal Soul that transforms itself, the immortal souls that somehow reach the eternal source of everything, the highest good, the Absolute of Spiritual World, the Eternal Life. Tomorrow, yesterday, now we could have stopped the war.

In questo bel documentario di Rick e Ruth Meghiddo, uno sguardo sull’opera di Anselm Kriefer, un grande artista tedesco dei nostri tempi, il quale, senza ipocrisia, s’interroga ancora oggi, come noi, sugli orrori del passato, del presente e di un futuro apocalittici reali, ovvero la spada di Damocle delle moderne armi di distruzione industrializzata di massa.

Nell’opera di Anselm Kriefer: ieri, adesso, domani.

Morte e devastazione, ieri, tra le rovine della seconda guerra mondiale e tra le ceneri dei campi di sterminio. Morte e devastazione, oggi, l’equazione mortale delle società delle merci, le guerre infinite all’uomo e alla natura. Morte e devastazione domani, nel dopo dell’ultima delle nostre guerre contro la vita.

L’uscita.

L’uscita dal mondo, da questo mondo, o già in questo mondo, adesso. L’Anima immortale che si trasforma, le anime immortali che raggiungono in qualche modo l’eterna sorgente di tutto, il sommo bene, l’Assoluto del Mondo Spirituale, la vita eterna, l’Eterna Vita. Domani, ieri, adesso noi avremmo potuto fermare la guerra.
